This is how you can secure your footwear at temples

There are many number of temples in India and we visit them on regular basis.As footwear is not allowed inside holy places we leave them outside, If stands are provided we place our footwear in stands otherwise we  leave them with the flower vendors who look after our footwear for a price, otherwise we leave them randomly at a place only to come back and find your new footwear missing. 

Now the trick is whenever you want to leave your footwear outside dont leave them together at one place leave one at some place and the other at another place and also put one of them in upside position. footwear has a value only if its available in pair so the theif will not rob your one footwear.
